Vulcan HS by VLS

This heatsink is built and machined to excellence. It functions great for the intended purpose and looks superb under an atty. Unfortunately this very product is no longer in production, and as such it is both rare to get, and is almost a collectable item. I thought I could never find one again in commerce in 2018, but Vapetime was the place! Thank you!

Well worth the small price to protect your expensive mod from leakages into the 510,and prevents heat transfer from your dripper to your pride and joy. Build quality & machining are exceptional as you'd expect & fits perfectly with no gaps on all my hardware. A cheap insurance policy - at this price you'd be daft not to!

i bought two of these heatsinks: one in copper and the 2nd in stainless steel. The copper one was bought so that it can perform its function as an actual heatsink: both my mod and my tank are metallic so too much heat from the tank transfers to the mod. It looks really well (mod and tank are of the same color as the heatsink) and performs adequately even without further assistance. to those that have not noticed an improvement from using it: of course it will work considerably better if you apply some computer thermal paste (to the upper surface only, the one where the tank touches the heatsink) ideally, you'd want the opposite surface to resist heat transfer as much as possible so that you protect the mod, so no paste there; you could also experiment with further impeding heat transfer by cutting a piece of duct tape to size (and a hole for the 510) and place it between mod and heatsink, but in my case i'm satisfied with its effect. My tube of silver thermal paste must have had a small leak and dried up so I've had to order some. if it's possible, when it arrives I will update this review. The stainless steel one on the other hand was bought simply because it looks very, very handsome on my pipes. there's no chance of damage from heat transfer in those cases.

Really good quality item and delivery was really quick. It looks good on my mod (which is why I've kept it) but it doesn't actually work. My internal mod temp is the same with it as it was without and heat still transfers from the atty to the body of my mod.

This heat sink is perfectly made, does the job brilliantly and comes superbly packaged. If your mod is getting a little hot get one.

I had some overheating problems with my VLS vulcan, after adding this into the mix I can keep vaping without having to wait for it to cool down! Well worth it for any atomiser that gets a little hot after vaping for too long

Nice piece of kit for those atties and builds that get hot. The fins seem to work as advertised. Very nice presentation and top notch build quality.
