A manager in a travel agency is trying to urge all travel agents to pass an information “Vaping is illegal” to their customers in Thailand as unknowing travelers could be sent to 10 ten years or less in prison. An arrest has already been made on some tourist for having in possession of electronic cigarettes. The ban on vaping has been enacted in the South East Asian country since 2014. However, many who reside in the tourism industry are still not aware of it. I will definitely say it now if I’m betraying Thailand. Every agent should. Things that are liable to ruin a holiday should be made known to people because Thailand has gained more popularity.” said Waterton.

“If convicted with any of these confiscated items, you could be imprisoned for 10 years or thereabouts, or you could be fined.”
