Over the last few months, much has been discussed about regulating or banning electronic cigarettes, whether through the media, papers or various publications and the message appears to be the same, regulation and taxation will eventually raise its ugly head.
For our part we're very much in favour of setting regulations to ensure that vaping products, whether it's ingredients in e-liquid or battery quality standards improve across the board, it can only be a good thing for consumers making devices safer and ensuring better quality e-juice, but it all comes down to how it's implemented and what impact it has on the end user, the vapers.
Historically, the UK has followed the USA in many things from wars to laws and beyond, this may be the case with vaping; legislation and regulation is very different there to what we are experiencing and enjoying here.

No longer can you mix your favourite liquids together for that personal cocktail or choose which e-liquid company suits your taste buds, that would be chosen for you. Fans of 24mg may have to do with a top ceiling of 20mg, there is even talk of a limit to how much e-liquid you can buy daily.
Legislation like this will hurt pockets, and potentially cripple the quality of vaping devices and liquid while big tobacco remains on a pedestal; NRT like nicotine patches, gum, spray and lozenges will flourish in spite of containing the same ingredients in higher doses even though it's been proven to be less effective and considerably more expensive.
